Quick, Efficient and Green Laundry with Laundry Alternatives

This is just about the coolest thing I've seen in terms of laundry since the hand-cranked laundry spinner thing I used during my short stay with a friend and her host family in Costa Rica in 1994. (Not to mention their kitchen disposal...meaning the pig that lived just under the kitchen window and would eat all the scraps you tossed.)
